Theme for The Seventh Sunday of Easter
Our ascended Lord has not left us as orphans, without him present. His presence continues in a different way, in Word and Sacrament.
Hymn #539
Alleluia. We know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Alleluia.
O King of glory, Lord of hosts, uplifted in triumph far above all heavens, leave us not without consolation but send us the Spirit of truth whom You promised from the Father; for You live and reign with Him and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Hymns #821, #539, #623, #622, #517 [st. 1,13,3], #529
