Theme for the Twenty Third Sunday after Pentecost
Christ came to seek and save the lost. With the passing of All Saints' Day, the Church now turns her attention to the consummation of Christ's kingdom in the liturgy and readings.
Hymn #728
Alleluia. Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. Alleluia.
O Lord, stir up the hearts of Your faithful people to welcome and joyfully receive Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, that He may find in us a fit dwelling place; who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
